Christmas Eve

Here's the concept art I did today; it took me about 4-7 hours straight, including the clean up in Photoshop. I was supposed to be drawing during the break, but instead, I ended up procrastinating on that War Craft game (most of the time) this week. And I know it was very stupid; ....I'm gonna regret this.
Anyway, by the time my limit is up, I'm heading back to drawing for sure. This game is really addictive; no wonder Chris and James are procrastinating last semester, fortunately the one I'm having is a 10 day-demo.
Also during Christmas time, not really special this year. Except for shopping and seeing the show Radio City Christmas Spectacular (The Rockettes) in Hummingbird Centre, which I don't think you're intrested in it either.

Begin Setting up Another Page

Hey Everyone! I just wanted to let you know that I've already started setting up the account for DeviantART. I know I don't have any work to post up right now, but soon I will.

However, I don't know when its going to be done; probably I'll get it done 'til the end of Christmas. Well...., we'll see how this goes. I'll add a link to my blog-site if I get it done.

Character Design Project

Here are the sculptures I made from last sem. Sorry that I didn't put any names for them, I was really busy with other work.

Short Film Animation

Everyone in "A" Class! Just to let you know that the "short film" storyboard is now set for yellow group. It is posted on the left side Andrew's blog-site, and if you can't find it, its on:

www.artofandrew.net/seneca.

And once you get it, try to start understanding what has happened throughout your scene, that also includes practice drawing your scene characters. You can also start animating your roughs if you wanted to, but don't just waste your whole holiday slacking off without knowing your scene; I know someone who is. And of course I know that everyone is still dead tired from last semester (I am, too), but once you understand your scenes, the better.

And for green group, there is no infromation updated for "short film" yet, but understand or practice drawing the characters anyway.

See you all next semester.

(^__^)

*P.S.* As one of the production managers, I'll try to give you out more information as much as possible; this is really the first time doing this, so please respect me once we started the production.

Sikurd & Hung-Mao

Here's another fanart for Noruriri-san; I finally got this one done. It took me about couple of weeks to finish it, yet it includes four months delay from college work; I was so terribly busy that I'll never gonna get this illustration done.

Anyways, this one's for you Noruriri-san, I hope you like it.

Fragment Scene of Elemental Warriors

Finally, here it is; my first storyboard of my (future) show. Althougth I use the final storyboard from my instructor for practice-- it was just the list of shots I'm supposed to do before my semester ended-- I'm making it look good for my portfolio anyway. And yeah, I've made up the story on my own as well.

Characters:

- Hikaya Fujikawa (a girl with long golden-brown hair)
- Ryan Hirashi (a wolf-man with an army tag)

Location:

- Inside Ancient Ruins

Here are the translations if you don't understand my writing.

*Hikaya suddenly stopped running.*

Ryan: Hey, what are you doing? We gotta get outta here!
Hikaya: ...Cherity-san, Kelvin-kun, Hung-Mao-chan, Haku, Reverend Moonshine. We can't
just leave them there!

Ryan: Hikaya--

*Ryan hears the ruin building collapsing.*

Ryan: (*It's about to collapse any second!*)

*Ryan grabs Hikaya's wrist and pulls straight to him.*

Ryan: (Angry) NOW LOOK! THERE'S NOTHING WE CAN DO TO SAVE THEM NOW. BUT
IF WE STAY HERE MUCH LONGER, WE'LL DIE ALONG, TOO!
Hikaya: ...Ryan--

*They react to the unstable ceiling.*

Ryan: LET'S GO!

*The ceiling collapses.*

*They've got out and look back, pausing.*

*They then turn around and see that the exit is blocked.*

Hikaya: (gasp)

Ryan: (growling)

Ryan: DAMNIT! The exit is blocked!

*The floor is collapsing.*

Hikaya/Ryan: (screaming)

Characters for Final Project

Well, here are the characters I did a week ago. One of them you might find it familiar; it's the character that I mostly used for my previous illustrations.

Anyways, the final project I was doing was that I supposed to have a character that is sneeking behind the other character while he's either walking or doing something. So for my short story, I used Hung-Mao as a sneeker and Liu-Huang (his father) as a house worker.

Story:

Hung-Mao came back from Medical School to see his father, but once he's inside the house, he sees that his father is not here. He's thinking that his father must be working -- as usual. So Hung-Mao checks around the house to see if he's here or not. When he reaches to the laundry room, he sees that his father is here, at the far end, washing clothes. Hung-Mao tip-toed closer and give him a surprise. Liu-Huang --his father-- look from behind and said happily, "Hey son, you came back already?"

Oh. Just as you know why Hung-Mao is in Medical school? He's actually born with very high intelligence. So that is why he's gifted in that program; he maybe a kid, but he does has some adult personality.

Fanart for Noruriri-san

I just randomly searched through different artist sites and collect the best ones I like. But when I search through Noruriri's site, I see that he has the best characters here, especially this one I'm showing you now (except the panda character, I created that one). For my fanart, I added my character to his character just to make it look "kawaii"; well, they are bears, they can be together can they?

As for the artist himself, " gomen-nasai" Noruriri-san for intruding, I just really like your work. And "daijobu", I'm not gonna steal it. (^__^;).....

*I hope I didn't make this English too complicated for you because I don't know much Japanese myself. I'm trying to apply a Japanese course so that I can read, speak, and understand it a lot more.*

Old Cafe Sketches

Here are some sketches I did for about couple of weeks ago.

I think I'm mostly comfortable with pen & ink than conte because it's hard for me to get the body proportion right sometimes. Last few weeks, when I saw some other people, they had those conte drawings that were highly proportioned, and had good line quality. I was trying to go to Ext. Life Drawing everyday, but I, unfortunately, ended up doing other work instead.

(-__-) ....
